Our “It Just Takes One” campaign is a critical piece of our resource development plan for the year. The funds raised in the “I.J.T.O.” campaign are put to work in the areas of our most critical needs – working directly with the children.

Cerruti Family CRAB FEED benefiting the Boys & Girls Club

Date: Saturday, January 7, 2012
Time: 6pm
Location: BGCSL, 401 Marina Blvd., San Leandro, CA

Cost: $40 per person

Description: The event will be held at the Boys & Girls Club facility at 401 Marina Blvd. in San Leandro. Social hour begins at 6:00 pm with dinner being served at 7:00 pm.

Tickets are $40 per person, which includes all-you-can-eat crab, pasta, salad and French bread.

Live music by “BackBeat” performing the music of The Beatles.

Drake's Brewing Co. "First Friday" Event

Date: Friday, July 6,2012
Time: 4 to 8PM
Location:1933 Davis St., Bldg. 177 (by Wal-Mart)

Donation: $5 donation to the BGCSL kindly requested (per person)

Description: On Friday, July 6, 2012, Drake’s will offer a special opportunity to taste an array of their amazing micro brews, all in support of the Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro.

Drake’s “First Friday” events benefit a wide variety of community organizations such as schools, sports programs and other community based organizations like the Boys & Girls Club.

In addition to the Drake’s beverages, there will be barbecued sausages for sale, and live entertainment provided by BackBeat, playing the music of The Beatles.

A $5 donation to the Boys & Girls Club is requested but not required for admission. Brew tasting is $15 and includes a Drake’s logo mug. Drake’s is located at 1933 Davis St., building 177 (by WalMart).

9th Annual Ghirardelli Chocolate Golf Classic (Retrospect)

Date: Tuesday, September 27, 2011
Place: The Course at Wente Vineyards, Livermore

Description: The 9th annual “Ghirardelli Golf Classic” benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro was a tremendous success. 126 golfers played the beautiful course at Wente vineyards in Livermore. The Weather, the course and the company were world class!

The Boys & Girls Club is profoundly grateful for the number of tournament sponsors that supported the event this year. Tournament Sponsors included Ghirardelli Chocolate Co., State Roofing Systems, Pacific Southwest Container, Hub Folding Box, Jacobson Companies, Kraft Foods, Fremont Bank and McDermott Costa Insurance.

The tournament raised nearly $50,000 in suuport of the Boys & Girls Clubs programs.
